Different types of Conservatory: What’s available to me?

With a wide variety of different types of conservatories available, you still have to decide on which style you’d prefer. Lean-to conservatories
One of the simplest types of conservatories on our list, lean-to styles consists of a single sloped roof, with the body of the design attached to the house. Where necessary, the lean-to conservatories can also fit into a corner without taking up too much space. If don’t want your new conservatory to be too intrusive into your garden, or have limited space, this variation is a great option.
Edwardian conservatories
The Edwardian conservatory aims to allow as much light into the room as possible. With this aim in mind, the rectangular base of the structure is often set away from the house a little more than with lean-to conservatories, incorporating a standalone roof. This style’s ridged roof helps to add a traditional, almost gothic element to your home and is a great choice for those wanting a spacious, aesthetic conservatory. These types of conservatory suit both modern and traditional homes.
Victorian conservatories
Similar to Edwardian variations, Victorian conservatories are set out from the house more than their Lean-to counterparts. Often, they will be more curved than Edwardian conservatories and generally suit older, more traditional properties. The curved effect is created by several individual glass panes, allowing for a 180-degree view.
